Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this treasured child of mine. Although you have entrusted him/her to me, I know he belongs to you. Like Hannah offered Samuel, I dedicate my child to you, Lord. I recognize that he is always in your care. Help me as a parent, Lord, with my weaknesses and imperfections. Give me strength and godly wisdom to raise this child after your Holy Word. Please supply what I lack. Keep my child walking on the path that leads to eternal life. Help him to overcome the temptations in this world and the sin that would so easily entangle him. Dear God, send your Holy Spirit daily to lead and guide him. Ever assist him to grow in wisdom and stature, in grace and knowledge, in kindness, compassion and love. May he serve you faithfully with his whole heart devoted to you. May he discover the joy of your presence through daily relationship with your Son, Jesus. Help me never to hold on too tightly to this child, nor neglect my responsibilities before you as a parent. Lord, let my committment to raise this child for the glory of your name cause his life to forever testify of your faithfulness. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

VERY INSPIRATIONAL !! Top Comedian spotted eating in "Kibandas" 6 Lessons from a Poor Childhood That Lead to a Rich Life

Churchill (Danie Ndambuki),A top Kenyan Comedian and his crew has been spotted eating at a local kibanda. The motive behind it is yet to be understood. Being interviewed he said its just a way to remember his humble beginning.

“If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money can’t buy.” ~Proverb

I grew up on a farm with a father that was a hired hand and a mother that took care of the elderly.

I had six siblings and was the fifth in line. We had little money, but I always felt loved, not deprived. In many ways I was a rich person.

When I was four years old I lived in a two-room house, with two bedrooms built on within the year.

We had no real kitchen (it was just a room), no running water or indoor bathroom, no TV or telephone. (No, I did not grow up with the dinosaurs). We did have electric lights.

What did I learn by growing up in these conditions?

1. I learned to share.

There were four of us girls and we all slept in the same bedroom—two in one bed and two in another (both twin beds). You name it, and we shared.

2. I learned to take good care of what little I had and be grateful.

We each had one pair of shoes, very few clothes, and one toy for Christmas, so we took good care of what little we had and did not take it for granted. For birthdays, there was a cake baked and our present was getting to lick the bowl for the cake and icing.

3. I learned to use my imagination.

With very few toys we had to make your own. We walked on tall tomato cans with strips of rubber attached to hold them on our feet. We played with old tires and five gallon barrels by rolling them on their side. And stilts, we made ourselves.

REVEALED!!! 8 facts about Prophet Owour you didn't know

Truth about Dr. Prophet Owuor»

1. He stage-manages his alleged miracles through the power of Satan.

 2. His teachings are infact post-christian. Meaning, he exalts himself above God Himself, thus creating a religion different from Christianity, where he is the god.

 3. No true prophet had ever amassed wealth the way he does. Moreover, no true prophet engages in power-fights the way does with other men and women of God like bishop Wanjiru.

 4. He is used by Illuminati to prophecy the works of Illuminati. He infact has a symbol of illuminati in his website

5. His allegation that Raila had converted to christianity was just an attempt to gain Raila more followers.

 6. In most of his crusades, at least 2 people die.

 7. He refused to bury his father upon his death in 2005, because he had sacrificed him.

 8. True prophets prophecy the negative and positive things, since God always shows compassion to people. Owuor is a prophet of doom since he only prophecies negative things that dont have compassions of God

Miracles : Kidnapped Boy Sings Gospel Song Until His Abductor Releases Him..

Source: WSBTV

For all the believers out there, here’s something to get your day off to a good start. On March 31, at around 8:30 pm, 9 year old Willie Myrick, of Atlanta, Georgia, went outside to take care of his pet chihuahua, when he noticed a couple of dollars lying in his front yard.

Willie told Georgia ABC affiliate, WSBTV, “I was walking over here by the tree. I picked up the money and the man got out of his car and threw me in his car.”

Willie told a Georgia ABC affiliate that the man “was cursing at me telling me to shut up and didn’t want to hear a word from me. He said if I told anyone, he would hurt me, like in a bad way.”

And though we can assume that at least a part of Willie was scared, he refused to follow his kidnapper’s orders. Instead of remaining silent as he was instructed, Willie began singing Hezekiah Walker’s song “Every Praise.”

If you’re not familiar with the song, it starts “Every praise is to our God…Every word of worship with one accord.” And then “God my savior, God my healer, God my deliverer, yes He is.”

The lyrics couldn’t have been more appropriate for Willie’s story.

The fourth grader sang the song until the man, who had been driving around for nearly three hours, finally threw him out onto the street, told him not to tell anyone and drove away.

Willie knocked on several doors in East Point, asking for help. One person even turned him away before an elderly man let him call the police and his godmother. Willie was not harmed and his godmother took him to the hospital where he was examined.

Hezekiah Walker, the author and performer of the song, who also preaches at the Love Fellowship Tabernacle in New York, was so touched by Willie’s story, he made a trip to Georgia to see Myrick. Walker told the same ABC affiliate that he believes God spoke through him to save Willie’s life.

“It’s just emotional to me because you never know who you’re going to touch. I just wanted to hug him and tell him I love him.” Walker said.

The man who kidnapped Myrick, who has yet to be captured, has a $10,000 reward on his head. He’s described as a light skinned man in his mid to late twenties with dreadlocks. He was driving a gray four-door Honda Civic with no interior carpeting and an exposed metal floor. There’s a sketch of the kidnapper over at New York Daily News.

When Walker flew in, he met with Myrick, his friends, family and the whole congregation at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church for Myrick’s tenth birthday. They all sang the song together as tears rolled down Willie’s cheeks.

One thing missing among Christians to day.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING DESPERATELY MISSING AMONG CHRISTIANS TODAY

Something seems to be missing in our culture, in our churches, in our relationships. Maybe its an american thing or maybe its the broken world full of sin that we live in.

Without this, relationships become more about me, getting what I want, getting my needs met, and totally neglecting the person who we chose to spend the rest of our lives with…or so we thought.

Without this, we don’t feel the need to change our ways when our sin hurts another person.

Without this, its easy to pass a homeless person as we indulge in our dinner that is probably way more then we actually need.

Without this, we never fully realize the impact of our actions on others.

Without this, we never fully grasp Jesus’s guiding principles when he spoke about the great commission or when he said to love your neighbor as yourself.

Without this, we stop paying attention to each other, we become so focused on our responses and our rebuttals that we totally ignore what the other person is trying to tell us.

So what am I talking about?

Empathy

Now empathy is not the same thing as sympathy.

Sympathy is acknowledging another person’s hardships and providing comfort and assurance.

Empathy is when we feel for what another person is going through because we either have gone through something similar or we can put ourselves in their shoes.

I simply think that we don’t empathize with people enough. I know we can’t always entirely empathize with what another person is going through.

For example, I have no concept of what its like to be physically abused by a family member. I have never personally experienced it.

However, when someone comes to me and tells me that they have been physically abused, I can still feel empathy because I do know what that person must be feeling. Probably feelings of sadness, fear, loneliness, and despair.

I have felt all of these feelings, I’ve felt sad when I lost my grandpa, I have felt fear when my biological mom dropped me off at an orphanage, I have felt loneliness when I first moved to college all by myself, and I have felt despair when I battled a disease that I thought I would never heal from.

You see, God has given each one of us these emotions and although our experiences might be slightly different, they still elicit the same feelings we have all experienced.

I think we simply are so busy with our own lives that we don’t take the time nor give our full attention needed to feel empathy towards others.

Our minds are so filled with our own lives, our own needs, and our own desires, that there is no room left to think or even empathize for others.

I challenge you today to incorporate more empathy for others in your life. Take the time to really listen to someone, imagine that their story can teach you something, and open your heart so that you can begin to really put yourself in another person’s shoes.

“Compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous…” -1 Peter 3:8

“Rejoice with those rejoice, weep with those who weep.” -Romans 12:15

HIDDEN PAIN--Must read

Hidden Pain

You see me
I always looks so happy, right?
Telling jokes, smiling, having a great time with friends

Dancing, taking photos posting them on social media

sharing funny updates etc...

Truth is,

I am dying inside, so many people hurt me.

I am Tired.

Tired of all the drama, tired of not being good enough,

tired of life.

Mostly I don't want to look dramatic,

weak and attention seeking.

So I normally keep it all inside.

I act like everything is perfect

but you have no idea just how much

I cry at night.

When I walk around

everybody thinks that I am the happiest person they know.

That I have no problems

that my life is perfect.

If only they knew the truth..

I have been lied to & hurt so many times

by the ones I loved the most.

As hard as it is I always forgive.

The ones who bring me down,

the ones who make me cry at night.

Sometimes I spend more time

worrying & caring about the people who hurt me over & over again,

Than worrying & caring about myself

or the ones who love & care for me

Sadly most times,

I push away everyone

I am so scared to open my heart to others.

I am so scared of getting hurt or abandoned.

I am broken.

As we speak I am at my breaking point.

I do not know what to do.

I feel lost.

I am lost in my way of life.

I do not know who to turn to.

I prays day & night, But nothing ever seems to get better..

I am starting to give up,

No one understands how much pain I am in.

When everyone reads this,

I knows they are just going to sit there; laugh & talk about me,

that's all they ever do.

No one stops to think

about what I may do to stop all the pain.

No one gets me

I look happy,

But deep down I am not

I am hiding my pain

Something you should never try.

Why did Jesus ride an a donkey? Why are some Pastors and 'prophets" of today different?

Remember when Jesus Christ rode on a donkey?

Prior to entering Jerusalem, Christ instructed his disciples to acquire for him a donkey (in Matthew’s Gospel a donkey and a colt).

Why did Jesus ride a donkey? There are four reasons.

First, the prophet Zechariah wrote: “Behold, your king comes to you, triumphant and victorious. He is humble and riding on an ass, on a colt the foal of an ass.” (Zech 9:9)

The messianic sign was at once perceived by the crowds who hailed Jesus as their king shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” (Mt 21:9) Catholics still shout this Davidic salutation every time the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated. It is an acknowledgment that Jesus is the true Davidic Messiah and king.

Secondly, a DONKEY is integral to the story of Abraham’s offering of Isaac, a type of the oblation of the First Born Son as a sign of obedience.

The third reason is that King Solomon Solomon rode to his messianic coronation on a mule that had once belonged to David (1 Kgs 1:33-44).

Fourth, King Jehu rode into Samaria (a kind of false Jerusalem) over the garments of his adherents in order to destroy the temple of the false god Baal (2 Kgs 9:11-10:28). One of the first things Christ does upon entering Jerusalem is bring judgment to the Temple which has become a den of thieves. The typology in this account is rather startling as 2 Kgs chapter nine contains strong messianic language. Like King Jehu, Christ the King comes as a judge over ceremonial regulations.

Now picture this....

The faithful, who have been trickling into the town for the past few days, washed the streets early Friday morning. Traffic in the town came to a standstill as followers lined up in the streets to welcome the prophet.

Owuor drove into the town with a police escort and members of the National Youth Service marching band welcomed him with songs. National Youth Service were also present to play bands to welcome the prophet.

Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer,

But stay awake through a 3 hour movie?

Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK,

But find it easy to read other books?

Why is it so easy to ignore a msg about God,

Yet we forward the nasty ones?

Why are Prayers getting smaller,

But bars and clubs are expanding?

Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity,

But very difficult to engage with God?

Think about it, are you going to forward this?

Are you going to ignore it, cause you think you will get laughed at?

Forward this to all your friends.

80% of you won’t forward this.

God said:

If you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you on the day of judgment:

INSPIRATIONAL STORY-DONT CRY

*Must Read and share***

A woman, my mother's friend, was
abandoned by the husband just because
she has six girls only. This man who was a
commissioner of police, left her for another
woman. She suffered, she was wearing my mother's clothes.

But Today, the six
daughters are all great- medical doctors,
engineer, two lawyers, catholic nun, and a
pharmacist. She now moves from one
country to the other, wears laces and big
gold jewelries at home with domestic staff all over her. She
does not trade again, it's
her time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of
her labour.

Don't worry, just pray for long
life and raise your children well. They will
make you the envy of friends and enemies
someday. Invest in them today and reap the fruits
tomorrow...

Our prayer is Simple,
ANY PERSON THAT HAS REJECTED YOU
TODAY, YOUR STORY WILL CHANGE TO
SURPRISE THEM TOMMOROW IN JESUS
NAME !!!!AMEN

MUST READ!! WHY WOMEN CRY

A little boy grew up and became
a man, still wondering why
women cry. Finally he put in a call
to God. When God got on the
phone, he asked, "God, why do
women cry so easily?" God said:
"When I made the woman she
had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong
enough to carry the weight of
the world, yet gentle enough to
give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to
endure childbirth and the
rejection that many times comes
from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows
her to keep going when
everyone else gives up, and take
care of her family through
sickness and fatigue without
complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love
her children under any and all
circumstances, even when her
child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her
husband through his faults and
fashioned her from his rib to
protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that
a good husband never hurts his
wife, but sometimes tests her
strengths and her resolve to
stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to
shed. This is hers exclusively to
use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God, "the
beauty of a woman is not in the
clothes she wears, the figure that
she carries, or the way she
combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be
seen in her eyes, because that is
the doorway to her heart - the
place where love resides."

ALL MUST READ: GREAT LESSONS FROM THE POOR

LESSONS FROM THE POOR:
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country, with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son: ‘How was the trip?’
‘It was great, Dad.’
‘Did you see how poor people live?’ the father asked.
‘Oh yeah,’ said the son.
‘So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?’ asked the father.
His son answered:
‘I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.’
The boy’s father was left speechless.
Then his son added: ‘Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are.’

5 questions kids ask about GOD and their answers

1.Why Did God Create The World?
Answer: God created the world and everything in it because He enjoys making things and He wanted to be with us. He wanted to make us a part of His family. He created the world for us to live in and enjoy. We are like a mirror, reflecting His glory throughout the world.

2.Were There Dinosaurs on the Ark?
Answer: Most Bible experts believe dinosaurs died out before the great flood and wouldn’t have been around to put on the ark. Another reason we don’t read about dinosaurs is because the Bible is not written to tell us everything. It’s not a science book, it talks about people and God’s plan for our life.

3.Why Did God Make People?
Answer: People are different from animals because God made us like Himself. We have the ability to talk to God through prayer, to be creative and love others. People are the only part of God’s creation that can have a close relationship with Him.

4.Where Does God Live?
Answer: God's home is in Heaven, but He also desires to live within people who love Him. The Bible says that God lives in the praises of His people and it also says that where two or more are gathered in His name there He is also. When we allow the life of God to live in us it will reach out and touch the lives of people.

5.Does God Sleep Or Does He Rest?
Answer: God is not confined to a physical body like us, so He doesn't need to eat or sleep. When the Bible says God "rests," it means he stopped what He was doing. Jesus says that He must work because the Father is always working.

When we’re in a tough spot, we’re likely to pray more. Most people understand that prayer is important, for it is one way we can connect to God. But most people confess that they don’t pray enough.

Here are the 5 secrets to effective praying;

1.You Have to Ask (James 4:2)

It probably goes without saying that if we want God to answer our prayers, we must pray. God can certainly meet all our needs without us praying, but the Bible is clear that He wants us to ask. God insists that we pray, because He knows that when we ask, we will be more likely to give Him the glory.

2.Get Alone with God (Matthew 6:6)

Jesus taught that when we pray, we should do so in secret before God, not in public so that we’re seen by others. One of the weaknesses in the Church today is that we have abandoned this practice of getting alone with God to devote ourselves to prayer.

3. Pray with Confidence (Hebrews 4:15-16)

The author of Hebrews said that we are to approach the throne of grace with confidence, so we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

4.Corporate Praise (Acts 4:24,31)

Praise has even greater power when it is entered into with other believers. The Early Church faced severe persecution, but when they joined their voices in praise to God, the power of God was released.

5.Pray with Humility (Luke 7:6-7)

A centurion, a Roman officer, asked Jesus to heal his servant. As important as he probably was in the community, he didn’t consider himself worthy for Jesus to come to his house. He didn’t come demanding but humbly.

Because there were still traces of the cancer left, and if doctors didn't remove his eyes he might not have lived. The decision was made, and Ben's eyes were removed. Ben's mother never let him believe from the time he came out of surgery, to this present day he couldn't see.

At the age of seven, Ben began to click. He learned to bounce his clicks off objects around him to give him a clearer image of the object. Ben has learned to skate, ride a bike, plays basketball, and even video games.

Dr. James Reuben, Ben's eye doctor was astounded the first time he met Ben. Dr. Reuben was so impressed with Ben's abilities he contacted the local press. Ben's

sonar capability is similar to that of a submarine. Sonar operators are taught what Ben has taught himself.

Scientist at the University of Santa Barbara amazed with Ben's abilities invited him to the campus to see if they can find out how Ben navigates with a faint signal.

Ben's mother realized how exceptional her child was when she sent him to a school for the blind.

When Ben's mother relocated to give 14 year old Ben a better life, he had to relearn the dimensions of his new home, and the route to school along with the route to his karate class. Ben refuses to use a cane or guide dog.

Daniel Kish who has lost his sight like Ben at a young age to cancer, uses echolocation along with a cane, and teaches the blind how to access the world. Considered an expert Ben's mother sought out his help in order to help Ben to further his independence in the world.

Ben, like any other teenage boy craves his independence. Ben's first experience with blind people left a bad taste in his mouth, which took some time for him to believe that the blind people in Daniel Kish's group were different, and that it was even possible for him to lean something from another blind person who uses a cane.

Ben's cancer was in check until 2007, when he developed a tumor in his sinus cavity. Intensive treatment failed to knock down the disease. Aquanetta Gordon knew that her remarkable son's life on Earth soon would be over. As his life slipped away she got help from hospice nurses, family members and friends.

Ben built an enduring legacy after his story became public in The Bee in May 2006. He became a worldwide celebrity, an Internet sensation and an inspirational speaker.

A boy who touched the world of science, who will never be forgotten

The Boy Who Sees Without Eyes- VIDEO

The boy who could see without eyes After being diagnosed with retinal cancer Ben Underwood lost both his eyes at the age of 3. He taught himself to perceive and locate objects by making clicking sounds with his tongue and using the echoes as they bounced off his environment to create a visual image in his mind. He began to use this technique at age 3 and further improved it so that even the surface of the objects did not matter whether it is metal, wood or another human being. Ben was able to perceive the distance to objects in his environment by how loud and faint the echo was. Due to wearing two prostheses his disability was not visible at first glance. Ben never used a guide dog or a white cane in his life. After his unique skill made the news he was featured in several magazines and TV shows. The most important person who enabled him to develop his talent was his mother who always told him "Your name is Benjamin Underwood and you can do anything". Ben had a special talent to read other people and immediately know if he was accepted or rejected by another person. Ben's cancer returned in 2007 and this time treatment was not able to save his life. Ben died one week before his 17th birthday.

After a 15-year-long excavation defined as one of the the most complex ever conducted in Israel, archaeologists have finished uncovering a massive Canaanite fortress dating back to the time of Kings David and Solomon. The 3,800-year-old “Spring Citadel” was excavated in the City of David National Park by dozens of researchers led by Professor Ronny Reich of the University of Haifa and Eli Shukrun of the Israel Antiquities Authority. ”The Spring Citadel was built in order to save and protect the water of the city from enemies coming to conquer it, as well as to protect the people going down to the spring to get water and bring it back up to the city,” said Director of Development in the City of David, Oriya Dasberg

“The Spring Citadel was built in order to save and protect the water of the city from enemies coming to conquer it, as well as to protect the people going down to the spring to get water and bring it back up to the city,” said the director of development in the City of David, Oriya Dasberg.

The citadel is believed to have protected the Gihon spring, described in the Book of Kings as the location of King Solomon’s anointing.

The Spring Citadel is the largest Canaanite fortress yet discovered in Israel, and is believed to be the largest known fortress predating the reign of King Herod, according to the Antiquities Authority.

The fully excavated site has reopened to the public and will offer fuller access to visitors who wish to explore a piece of biblical history.

Love your mom, this is sad and may make you cry - Must watch

I think the sacrifices made were acts of love. Children don't sometimes understand what a parent or grandparent or anyone that does good for them and care about them in this world really mean to them. Some may be thankful, but, on the whole, most don't realize until they have gone out into the working world or maybe just have a family of their own. Let us wake up before it's too late to let them know how thankful we are for them being there. A lot of sleepless nights and worried days were spent for them, asking God to keep them safe and secure. If they only knew or know how they are always in our hearts and on our minds.
